Studio b Logo Design

This logo design was for a company that refinishes and customizes putters as well as selling other accessories. I made two different versions, one with the red stitching and one with a solid outline. I also created the icons to go along with the 3-word tagline.

Corvair Illustration

I decided to attempt my first ever vector gradient mesh project. While not all of the vehicle is done with the gradient mesh tool, the majority is.

Corvair Illustration

I have a Corvair, my dad has a barn full of them. This is based off of a photo at the Mid-Ohio Corvair Meet that I took last year. The Cincinnati, Dayton, and Columbus Corvair Club chapters all meet at Caesar’s Creek.

Concordia Lutheran Church Website Redesign

The old church website was primarily text-based with a simple header. The background was dark purple. The client wanted an updated look that was lighter. I kept with the same color scheme but used the purple color as an accent rather than the primary color. I used PHP includes so the client could easily edit the content such as header and footer and have it update site-wide. The client had the capabilities to update without having a CMS.

The logo design is not actually an official logo. The client did not have a logo so I used the LCMS cross and the name stacked in the same font as the rest of the site. The background on the header was in part from a texture that I changed hue on in Photoshop.

Jim Crotty Logo Design

I was contacted by Jim about doing a logo design. I had first found his work online while I was looking for local photographers in the area several years ago. I had already a good idea of the style he needed and after a brief phone conversation I knew which directions to go with.

Jim Crotty Logo Concepts

Sometimes it’s easier when the client is specific about the color scheme being black and white. This was the first round of concepts I delivered to Jim. Some were just treatments of his name, some included an icon or graphic (even though he didn’t request it – I wanted to give him that option), and one was his signature with the Papyrus font treatment of his name since that is what he uses in promotional materials and most publications.

He liked the Celtic feel of the second from the top left but also the bottom left and asked if I could attempt incorporating both.

Dare to Prepare Today Logo and Stationery

New logo design for my client (they create emergency readiness kits for disasters). It’s got a retro feel to it. A more simplified version and BW was created for embroidering.
